Here are the dates for this year’s Penkhull’s Club Championships!
C team now quickly looking closer to top teams in Div 1 after a fine 7.3 win this week. The B team lost out 9'1 to Ball Green B, whilst A team captain Phil Barnish led his team to a 7.3 win over Ball Green C with a fine hattrick and dbls win. Club chairman Rob Rhodes takes to the Racketlon scene this weekend in Nottingham for the year first Super Series event in the Mens B category, where he will need his table tennis to help him out as he attempts to climb the National Rankings.

British number one Liam Pitchford says he is in "probably the best place I've been", four years after being diagnosed with depression.Awesome turnout for the Junior session tonight, 16 in attendance almost tripled numbers on last weeks first session. Head coach wants in the 20s attending, lets getting sharing and keep our new head coach busy. Great buzz around the place tonight. Senior session also saw 8 tables packed out and a Stone league match in action too with a fine max win v Titt C a max win in hcap too with Majkut, Rhodes and Askey on triple wins.
Reminder about club membership which is late collecting this season, can all active Senior players playing league table tennis bring in their appropriate membership fee before the end of January. So far only collected from Rhodes/Bourne.Club membership forms available at club nights, please bring fees to club night or pass to a team captain to give to Rhodes/Smith, please don't leave it at the match venue for security reasons. These are vital annual fees that help us use two venues without it we risk loosing our match venue. Thank you.
Junior Coaching 6-7pm Monday night with Junior Head coach Shaun Slater, also Stone league team in action next two mondays start 7.30pm. Last few weeks been very well attended, great start to 2020 on club nights.
